Zion I & The Grouch—Frankenstein Lyrics

Zion I & The Grouch—Frankenstein

Zion I and The Grouch’s song Frankenstein.

It’s the Frankenstein monster we have created in the Mass Media, through allowing the deregulation of the FCC which resulted in all major Media sources being owned by 6 mega corporations who now control public opinion and work hard to keep you ignorant.

“I Pay Taxes, Why Don’t Corporations?”

This already infamous news report by David Kocieniewski of The New York Times begins:

“General Electric, the nation’s largest corporation, had a very good year in 2010. The company reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion, and said $5.1 billion of the total came from its operations in the United States.

Its American tax bill? None. In fact, G.E. claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion.” That means we paid them $3.2 billion, so they could do business in the U.S.

As one Coffee Party volunteer put it, “Americans are entertaining ourselves to death.” Desperate Taxpayers and Survivor: Trickle-Down Economics should be America’s most watched TV shows. The Coffee Movement  doesn’t have the bank to produce a TV show, but they are producing a series of Survivor web videos that give voice to the other America that lives outside the confines of that shiny box in our living rooms.

It’s time to speak up and show up!

One Day as a Lion “Wild International” — Music Video & Lyrics

One Day as a Lion “Wild International”

One Day As A Lion is a music project that was started in 2008 by Zack de la Rocha, the vocalist of Rage Against the Machine and Jon Theodore, former drummer of The Mars Volta. The duo blends elements of rock, rap, and punk. One Day as a Lion released their debut EP in July 2008.

The band’s name was taken from an infamous black and white graffiti photograph taken by Chicano photographer George Rodriguez in 1970 reading “It’s better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb.”

On July 16, 2008, the song “Wild International” was made available to stream on the band’s MySpace profile and was given its Australian radio premiere by Triple J and American radio premiere by KROQ in Los Angeles.

When Zack de la Rocha was asked about the song, he said,

“…that song is a response to the way we saw the U.S. government try to reframe the conflicts of the world. Particularly when the Soviet Union had collapsed, there was no way to subject the country to the kind of fear needed to justify what I consider to be an ill distribution of wealth. After 9/11 you could see that reframing taking place. The specter of Communism no longer haunted the U.S., justifying its actions in Latin America and all over the world. What filled that void were Al Qaeda and the Muslim world in general. That song is, in an abstract way, addressing the way the right has distracted people from this huge rush of wealth from the bottom to the top.

“Beyond that, I’m speaking toward a deeper sentiment that I feel and I know a lot of people feel. Most of the songs have to do with redemptive moments that come in the face of some real indignity. And that’s the current that I’m trying to tap into, because I think that for a lot of people — for the real participants who live in the shadows and work at car washes and are forced to cross the border and are struggling and facing the real economic consequences — they’re often left out off the debate because of the language they speak or even the terminology that they use.

“So it stems from my own frustration. It stems from seeing how things have been developing politically, and watching so much dissatisfaction and people very upset about the way the country is going. And watching all of that frustration steered back into a more traditional political process.”

When told the song seemed anti-religious, he said,

“I don’t see it as an anti-religious song. I see it as the West has been using Christianity as a way to justify its actions when in reality, those figures, Christ and Muhammad, were rebels. These two religious figures have been co-opted to justify power, although they fought against the abuses of power and the expansion of empire. It’s almost like, what would Christ and Muhammad do?”

They say that in war
That truth
Be the first casualty
So I dig in selector
I the resurrector
Fly my shit
Sever your neck
Wider than ever
With my tongue
Dipped in funk arsenic
Burn this illusion
This lie
This straight arson shit
Your arsenal stripped
Power ain’t full jackets
And clips
It’s my ability
To define phenomenon
Raw Crenshaw ’84
Boogie down before
L.A.
When the war break off
Where you be take off
Stand in full face off
With the M1 millimeter
Let the rhythm
Of the chamber hit ‘em
Let the rich play
Catch with ‘em
Better yet make ‘em eat
‘Em and shit ‘em
Till they
So full of holes
That they drown
In their own
I’m like a nail stuck
In the wrist
Of they Christmas
Don’t need radio
To leave their family
A witness

Muhammad
And Christ would life
Would lay
Your body down
To a tune
So wild international
In the desert
Full of bullets
Let your body rot
With my chrome
With my verse
With my body rock

In this era
Where DJs behave
Be paid to be slaves
We raid airwaves
To be sane
And what’s raining
From the station
Cash fascination
Like living dead
Fed agents
Distract us fast
From a disaster’s
Wrath for sure
Air war was flooded
Like the 9th ward
On the AM, on the AM
Turn and face them
Hatred and mayhem
Slay them, dangerous
I take razor steps
It’s the swing
From the bling
To the bang on the left
It’s the murderous return
Boom back full strap
Your six
That got clipped
You can’t clap back
With minimal lift
And criminal flow
I’m killing them soft
And billing them for
Everything stole
And once again
I’m that nail
In the wrist
Of they Christmas
Watch me
Make their family
A witness

Muhammad
And Christ would life
Would lay
Your body down
To a tune
So wild international
In the desert
Full of bullets
Let your body rot
With my chrome
With my verse
With my body rock

Muhammad
And Christ would life
Would lay
Your body down
To a tune
So wild international
In the desert
Full of bullets
Let your body rot
With my chrome
With my verse
With my body rock

International
International

Muhammad
And Christ would life
Would lay
Your body down
To a tune
So wild international
In the desert
Full of bullets
Let your body rot
With my chrome
With my verse
With my body rock

Muhammad
And Christ would life
Would lay
Your body down
To a tune
So wild international
In the desert
Full of bullets
Let your body rot
With my chrome
With my verse
With my body rock

CFR, Media Control and the New World Order

How did the CFR get media control?

It began with JP Morgan, Warburg and Rockefeller and has evolved into the manipulation of politics on a global scale.

VP Dick Cheney is a member and former director of the CFR and admittedly did not disclose this info during his congressional career (go here http://youtube.com/watch?v=XOAk-7F1EVU to hear him say it).

Why would a member and former director of a prestigious organization not want us to know this?

Today, the Council on Foreign Relations controls not just the media, but the mental health industry that is unnecessarily drugging millions, many of whom will be addicts for the rest of their lives.

This has dangerous implications! The people who are setting world policy are already forcibly drugging and locking people in mental institutions, against their will.

Flobots “Rise!” — Music Video and Lyrics

Flobots “Rise!”

“Rise” by the Flobots is the second single released by the alternative rap group Flobots from Denver, Colorado. It was released from Flobots’ album Fight with Tools.

The Flobots filmed a music video for this song on July 6, 2008, at the Gothic theater In Denver, Colorado. The video shows a rock concert intermixed with scenes of pro-American posters and people working to make the world a better place, such as planting trees and committing random acts of kindness. The video features almost everyone in some form of American Flag bandanna, much like the cover for Flobot’s album “Fight with Tools.” In the video, multiple references are made to the website americawillbe.org, a pro-peace website dedicated to the visions of what people want America to be.

It’s time to rise up together and fight the war for our minds, our sanity and our freedom.

Enjoy the music video.

So much pain we
Dont know how to be but angry
Feel infected like weve got gangrene
Please dont let anybody try to change me
Me
Just me
In the middle of a sea full of faces
Full of faces
Some laugh some salivate
Whats in your alleyway
Recycling bins or bullet cases
Its not equal
Its not fair
Were different people
But were not scared
We aint never scared
To pave a new path
Make a new street
Build a new bridge
Say can you see by the dawns early light
Free slaves running
Songs words werent right
Now a new days coming
The few stay stunning while the many are handsome
Your soul is alive but they want it for ransom
The base drumming is the anthem
We step to the heartbeats of our granddaughters and grandsons
And

Rise together we

Lost hope and found need
Grounded by our surroundings
Did the walls scream universities
Or you and i verse the tees
React automatic and we burst when squeezed
And make 9-11 each emergency
Urgency amber to red like the turning leaves
Oh please let the hurting cease
Don’t let apathy police the populace
We will march across
Those stereotypes that were marked for us
The answers obvious
We switch the consonants
Change the sword to words and lift continents

If you believe in redemption
I’m calling to you from another dimension

Flobots “Handlebars”—Lyrics & Music Video

Flobots “Handlebars”

Flobots “Handlebars” music video is about the corporate control of America. It was the Flobots first single to received national radio play.

In October 2007, after a year of writing and producing, the Flobots released their proper debut album Fight with Tools and sold out their CD release show at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado.

Flobots entered a contest held by Denver radio station 93.3 (KTCL), called Hometown for the Holidays, which allowed fans to vote for their favorite songs from 35 local bands. Flobots subsequently won both the radio portion of the contest as well as the live performance award. As a result, the station put “Handlebars” into full rotation at the end of January due to the immense popularity of the song during the contest.

In February 2008, Flobots held a show at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood called “The Heart Attack” featuring local bands The Hot IQs and Paper Bird. It was after this show that the group was approached by and subsequently signed to Universal Republic on a two CD major label deal. On March 31, the band announced that they would be playing Tucson, Arizona’s major alternative rock festival, KFMA Day, with Metallica, Apocalyptica, Chiodos, and Scars on Broadway on May 16. Flobots were also part of the sixteenth annual KROQ Weenie Roast on May 17, along with Atreyu, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Metallica, The Offspring, Pennywise, The Raconteurs, Rise Against, Scars on Broadway and Seether. On July 20, 2008, Flobots played at the Mile High Music Festival in Commerce City, Colorado with headliners Dave Matthews Band and John Mayer. On July 26, 2008, Flobots played 93.3′s Big Gig at Coors Amphitheater in Greenwood Village, Colorado with Offspring. On September 1, 2008 they performed at Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival in Seattle, Washington.

The single “Handlebars” became popular on alternative rock radio in April 2008 and peaked at #3 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Tracks chart.
They made their television debut on Carson Daly’s talk show on May 20, 2008. Also on May 20, Flobots spent two hours with Dr. Drew and Stryker answering sex questions on Loveline and re-released their album Fight With Tools to a wider audience after their newfound success.

Look at me, look at me
hands in the air like it’s good to be
ALIVE
and I’m a famous rapper
even when the paths’re all crookedy
I can show you how to do-si-do
I can show you how to scratch a record
I can take apart the remote control
And I can almost put it back together
I can tie a knot in a cherry stem
I can tell you about Leif Ericson
I know all the words to “De Colores”
And “I’m Proud to be an American”
Me and my friend saw a platypus
Me and my friend made a comic book
And guess how long it took
I can do anything that I want cuz, look:

I can keep rhythm with no metronome
No metronome
No metronome

I can see your face on the telephone
On the telephone
On the telephone

Look at me
Look at me
Just called to say that it’s good to be
ALIVE
In such a small world
All curled up with a book to read
I can make money open up a thrift store
I can make a living off a magazine
I can design an engine sixty four
Miles to a gallon of gasoline
I can make new antibiotics
I can make computers survive aquatic conditions
I know how to run a business
And I can make you wanna buy a product
Movers shakers and producers
Me and my friends understand the future
I see the strings that control the systems
I can do anything with no assistance
I can lead a nation with a microphone
With a microphone
With a microphone
I can split the atoms of a molecule
Of a molecule
Of a molecule

Look at me
Look at me
Driving and I won’t stop
And it feels so good to be
Alive and on top
My reach is global
My tower secure
My cause is noble
My power is pure
I can hand out a million vaccinations
Or let’em all die in exasperation
Have’em all healed of their lacerations
Have’em all killed by assassination
I can make anybody go to prison
Just because I don’t like’em and
I can do anything with no permission
I have it all under my command
I can guide a missile by satellite
By satellite
By satellite
and I can hit a target through a telescope
Through a telescope
Through a telescope
and I can end the planet in a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust

I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handle bars
No handlebars

I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handlebars
No handlebars

We request to negotiate
We come to you unarmed
We desire to communicate
You cannot do us harm

For one sacrifice,
they have schemes and ask me to follow their path to the afterlife
I’ve got an appetite
for nice things and the dreams that my enemies could be blasted by
Ooh metaphors
Views that are better for you can’t survive or find your competitor
Rise together
Ooh Fight separate wars i pray I’m never forced to be a predator

Suspecting we won’t last
They’re glad to hate but gladiators breed their last
Scream or mash for their dreams do clash
Like swords in the war let me bleed on that
Put the heat on that
Cept we need strong backs
You call us weak and don’t redeem contracts
Well this speech won’t last
If the beast attacks
The sons and the fathers will be free at last

This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason

They see sharks in the estuary
They claim the arch of Bartholomew’s
They say war is necessary
But we say war is child abuse

We’d rather make our children (We request to negotiate)
Martyrs than murderers (We come to you unarmed)
We’d rather make our children (We desire to communicate)
White Flag Warriors (You cannot do us harm)

Take to the core they’re the one’s we’ve been waiting for
We hold steady, steady on the step of door
The type of you are matadors and matadors are capable
Forgive the death and settle scores and test the metal and the ore

What’s your plan go to do with me?
If the bell told us let freedom ring
And find the new ways that we must be king
Instead of leading the young to our suffering

The past test of this
Now screams back in heaven
For testing us like wednesdays at 11
Want to recruit and train us to act evilly
Save it for the shooting range
So back DVD

Just tell me want no more this millennia
It’s never again for me or anyone
So think harder when you refer to us
Rather make our children martyrs than murders

This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason
This is love, and not treason

They shell dwellings to quell the shellings
And lift taboos and seduce the countings
They say we’re too yellow bellied
But we say we’re the new superpower

We’d rather make our children (We request to negotiate)
Martyrs than murderers (We come to you unarmed)
We’d rather make our children (We desire to communicate)
White Flag Warriors (You cannot do us harm)

We seek ways to not be liable
We claim to speak for a higher truth
We stand opposed to the homicidal
We tell you you are fire proof

We’d rather make our children (We request to negotiate)
Martyrs than murderers (We come to you unarmed)
We’d rather make our children (We desire to communicate)
White Flag
Warriors
We’d rather make our children
We’d rather make our children

Do what you want to our courage
Ask us what you will
Demand from us a sacrifice
But do not make us kill

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

Born to a throne, stronger than Rome
But Violent prone, poor people zone
But it’s my home, all I have known
Where I got grown, streets we would roam
But out of the darkness, I came the farthest
Among the hardest survival
Learn from these streets, it can be bleak
Except no defeat, surrender retreat

So we struggling, fighting to eat and
We wondering when we’ll be free
So we patiently wait, for that fateful day
It’s not far away, so for now we say

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

So many wars, settling scores
Bringing us promises, leaving us poor
I heard them say, love is the way
Love is the answer, that’s what they say,
But look how they treat us, make us believers
We fight their battles, then they deceive us
Try to control us, they couldn’t hold us
Cause we just move forward like Buffalo Soldiers

But we struggling, fighting to eat
And we wondering, when we’ll be free
So we patiently wait, for that faithful day
It’s not far away, but for now we say

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And everybody will be singing it
(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And you and I will be singing it
(Ohhhh Ohhhh Ohhhhh Ohhhh)
And we all will be singing it
(Ohhh Ohh Ohh Ohh)

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

When I get older, I will be stronger
They’ll call me freedom, just like a Waving Flag
And then it goes back, and then it goes back
And then it goes back

When I get older, when I get older
I will be stronger, just like a Waving Flag
Just like a Waving Flag, just like a Waving flag
Flag, flag, Just like a Waving Flag.
