[Mike:]
This is not the end, this is not the beginning
Just a voice like a riot rocking every revision
But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm
Though the words sound steady something empty’s within them
We say yeah with fists flying up in the air
Like we’re holding onto something that’s invisible there
Cause we’re living at the mercy of the pain and the fear
Until we dead it, forget it, let it all disappear

[Chester:]
Waiting for the end to come
Wishing I had strength to stand
This is not what I had planned
It’s out of my control
Flying at the speed of light
Thoughts were spinning in my head
So many things were left unsaid
It’s hard to let you go

I know what it takes to move on
I know how it feels to lie
All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven’t got

Sitting in an empty room
Trying to forget the past
This was never meant to last
I wish it wasn’t so

I know what it takes to move on
I know how it feels to lie
All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven’t got

[Mike:]
What was left when that fire was gone
I thought it felt right but that right was wrong
All caught up in the eye of the storm
And trying to figure out what it’s like moving on
And I don’t even know what kind of things I said
My mouth kept moving and my mind went dead
So I’m picking up the pieces, now where to begin
The hardest part of ending is starting again

[Chester(till end):]
All I want to do
Is trade this life for something new
Holding on to what I haven’t got
I’m holding on to what I haven’t got
I’m holding on to what I haven’t got

Until we dead it, forget it let it all disappear

Rage Against The Machine “People of The Sun” Lyrics & Music Video

Rage Against The Machine “People of The Sun”

“People of the Sun” is the second single by the American band Rage Against the Machine for their 1996 album Evil Empire. The song is about the Zapatista revolution. Lead vocalist Zack de la Rocha wrote “People of The Sun” after a visit to the Chiapas in southern Mexico. The music video for “People of the Sun” was nominated for a Best Hard Rock Performance Grammy in 1998, but it lost to the Smashing Pumpkins’ “The End is the Beginning is the End”.

“People of The Sun” has a wide variety of references, most notably the destruction of the Aztec empire by the Spanish. De La Rocha also refers to the last Aztecan Emperor Cuauhtémoc, who was tortured and eventually executed by the Spaniards.

Rage Against the Machine” were known to perform “People of The Sun” live as early as 1992, the only difference being Zack’s lyrics. A studio version was also recorded and has circulated on the internet. The original “People of The Sun” lyrics contained verses from their song “Fistful of Steel”.

This version of “People of the Sun” was first played on December 14, 1992, at the Whisky a GoGo in West Hollywood, California.

The music video for “People of the Sun”, directed by Peter Christopherson and produced by Fiz Oliver at Squeak Pictures, opens with shots of a dead Mexican Indian girl; her arm starts bleeding and the blood shows the words “Trickle down”. Statistics illustrating the plight of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation are shown from a film projector being run in a morgue. Military footage of US arms arriving in Mexico and the Zapatistas themselves are interspersed with this and shots of the band playing in front of a brick wall in about a 10 by 10 space. The version seen on MTV is the edited version; scenes of an indigenous worker being buried alive and trampled, and dead teenagers in the morgue, have been removed and replaced with military footage. The black and white documentary-style scenes of the laborer and the vaqueros are from the movie ¡Qué viva México! by Sergei Eisenstein, from the 1930s.

Yeah people come up

Yeah, we better turn tha bass up on this one

Check it,
Since 15 hundred and 16, minds attacked and overseen
Now crawl amidst the ruins of this empty dream
With their borders and boots on top of us
Pullin’ knobs on the floor of their toxic metropolis
But how you gonna get what you need ta get?
Tha gut eaters, blood-drenched get offensive like Tet
The fifth sun sets get back reclaim
Tha spirit of Cuahtemoc alive an untamed
Now face tha funk now blastin’ out ya speaker
On the one: Maya, Mexica
The vultures came, they tried to steal your name but now you got a gun
Ya this is for the people of the sun

Its comin’ back around again
This is for the people of the sun
Its comin’ back around again

Its comin’ back around again
This is for the people of the sun
Its comin’ back around again

Ya never forget that the wipe snapped your back, ya spine cracked for tobacco, I’m the Marlboro man uh
Our past blastin’ on through tha verses
Brigades of taxi cabs rolling broadway like hearses
Troops strippin’ zoots, shots of red mist, sailors blood on tha deck
Come sista resist
From tha era of terror, check this photo lens
Now the city of angels as they ethnic cleanse
Heads bobbin’ to tha funk out ya speaker,
On the one: Maya, Mexica
That vulture came ta try to steal ya name but now you found a gun
You’rehistory, this is for the people of the sun

Its comin’ back around again
This is for tha people of tha sun
Its comin back around again

This is for tha people of tha sun
Its comin’ back around again

Rage Against The Machine “Bulls On Parade” Music Video & Lyrics

Rage Against The Machine “Bulls On Parade”

“Bulls on Parade” addresses the American military-industrial complex, a situation in which industry (the arms industry, primarily) urges government to take military action, with the intent of obtaining military contracts, to thereby increase its revenue. The idiom “bulls on parade” refers to a bull market. The symbol may also mean the muscularity of American responses to complex problems; we act like mad bulls on dress parade rather than negotiating or using less violent strategies. Also the verse, “They rally around the family, with a pocket full of shells” could refer to the composer’s belief that American politicians in both parties represent the family as an integral part of their policies, but in actuality they use this as a “scarecrow” tactic because they really have pockets full of ammo (“shells”) catering to the military-industrial complex.

The verse in the song, “Weapons not food, not homes, not shoes, not need, just feed the war cannibal animal”, refers to the military-industrial complex in the song. Another verse, “They don’t gotta burn tha books they just remove ’em” is an example of literary reference, alluding to Fahrenheit 451 and its author, Ray Bradbury’s famous quote, “You don’t have to burn books to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them.” With the words “Terror rains drenchin’, quenchin’ tha thirst of tha power dons”, the song suggests that fear of terrorism is used to manipulate the American population into supporting military action. The phrase “the terror rains” serves a double meaning, suggesting that “the terror” by the government literally reign.

The song is widely known for its popular guitar solo containing a vinyl scratch effect used by Tom Morello, done by toggling between two pickups – one on and one off – while rubbing his hands on the strings over the pickups and using a wah-pedal to create the effect that someone is scratching a vinyl disc. “Bulls on Parade” is also known for one of Tim Commerford’s more famous bass solos, during the second wah-wah riff, and right before Tom’s guitar solo.

The video for “Bulls on Parade”, directed by Peter Christopherson and produced by Fiz Oliver at Squeak Pictures, premiered on MTV’s 120 Minutes on April 14, 1996. On July 31, 1996 it was nominated for Best Hard Rock Video in the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards.

The video contains footage from the Sydney Big Day Out (25th of Jan, 1996) and their side show at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney (27th of Jan, 1996). Throughout the video shots of young people protesting in the streets with political signs, military drills, flags, and other similar images are montaged together. An antique-style film is used which promotes scratches, dust and film grain. Several scenes show people wrapping ‘Evil Empire’ banners on walls, telephone posts and posting up other propaganda posters designed by Barbara Kruger. There is a scene where a character wearing a black “Libertyville” jacket with a baseball cap is painted by the renowned Phantom Street Artist Joey Krebs who paints his iconoclastic figures on city walls. This is the actual portrait created by the street artist of Tom Morello himself. Various lyrics are flashed on top of these scenes in a scrawled sort of chicken-scratch throughout.

Rage Against The Machine “Sleep Now In The Fire” Lyrics and Music Video

Rage Against The Machine Sleep Now In The Fire

The music video for the song which was directed by Michael Moore with cinematography by Welles Hackett, features the band playing in front of the New York Stock Exchange, intercut with scenes from a satire of the popular television game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire which is named “Who Wants to Be Filthy F#&%ing Rich”. Quoted at the end of the song is Republican politician Gary Bauer stating that, “a band called ‘The Machine Rages On’ – er – ‘Rage Against the Machine’, that band is anti-family and it’s pro-terrorist”, following an incident outside of fellow Republican Alan Keyes’ 2000 primary campaign town hall event, where Keyes jumped into a mosh pit formed while Rage Against the Machine was playing. Actor Garrett Wang is briefly seen in the video enjoying the music.

The shoot for the music video on January 26, 2000, caused the doors of the New York Stock Exchange to be closed. In fact, the Stock Exchange locked its doors mid-day in response to fears of crowds gathering to watch the filming. This was not recorded as a closure as trading on the exchange floor continued uninterrupted.

“We decided to shoot this video in the belly of the beast”, said Moore, who was detained by police for an hour and threatened with arrest during the shooting of the video, as the band had a permit that allowed them on the premises, but did not have a sound permit. The band was escorted from the site by security, after band members attempted to gain entry into the Exchange.

The video was nominated at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Rock Video but lost to Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff”, causing the infamous incident where bassist Tim Commerford climbed a large piece of the award show set in protest of losing to Limp Bizkit.

YEAAAH!

The world is my expense
The cost of my desire
Jesus blessed me with its future
And I protect it with fire
So raise your fists and march around
Dont dare take what you need
I’ll jail and bury those committed
And smother the rest in greed
Crawl with me into tomorrow
Or i’ll drag you to your grave
I’m deep inside your children
They’ll betray you in my name

Hey!
Hey!
Sleep now in the fire

Hey!
Hey!
Sleep now in the fire

The lie is my expense
The scope with my desire
The party blessed me with its future
And i protect it with fire
I am the nina, the pinta, the santa maria
The noose and the rapist, the fields overseer
The agents of orange
The priests of hiroshima
The cost of my desire
Sleep now in the fire

Hey!
Hey!
Sleep now in the fire

Hey!
Hey!
Sleep now in the fire

For it’s the end of history
It’s caged and frozen still
There is no other pill to take
So swallow the one
That makes you ill
The nina, the pinta, the santa maria
The noose and the rapist, the fields’ overseer
The agents of orange
The priests of hiroshima
The cost of my desire
Sleep now in the fire

YEAAAH!

Sleep now in the fire!
Sleep now in the fire!
Sleep now in the fire!
Sleep now in the fire!

Rage Against The Machine Guerrilla Radio Music Video & Lyrics

Rage Against The Machine “Guerrilla Radio”

Rage Against The Machine’s “Guerrilla Radio” is the second track from the 1999 album The Battle of Los Angeles by the band Rage Against the Machine. The band won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for this song. It has remained one of their signature tracks.

Rage Against The Machine “Guerrilla Radio” music video was shot by production company Squeak Pictures in Los Angeles in October 1999 and directed by Honey, i.e., the husband-and-wife directorial team of Laura Kelly and Nicholas Brooks. The video which, among others, touches upon the exploitation of garment workers, parodies the popular late ’90s Gap commercials directed by Pedro Romhanyi. These ads featured attractive young people singing songs while against a white backdrop, wearing Gap clothing. The phrase “everybody in denial” (the ‘denial’ being Gap brand leather, vests, etc) then flashes loudly across the screen.

Guerrilla Radio’s music video begins with bland, generic, elevator music being played. There are shots of sweatshop workers (UNITE! union members playing themselves) at their tables, against a white backdrop. Shortly, the phrase “everybody in denial” is flashed on screen. The band is then seen standing against a white background, calmly playing their instruments. As the song picks up, pictures are seen of a man putting money from the workers in his pockets, taking a girl away from her mother, and the band playing live in a dark, strobe-lit room.

No shelter if youre looking for shade
I lick shots at the brutal charade
As the polls close like a casket
On truth devoured
Silent play in the shadow of power
A spectacle monopolized
The cameras eyes on choice disguised
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?
Yes a spectacle monopolized
They hold the reins, stole your eyes
All the fistagons the bullets and bombs
Who stuff the banks
Who staff the party ranks
More for Gore or the son of a drug lord

The American Dream Film

The American Dream is a 30 minute animated film that shows you how you’ve been scammed by the most basic elements of our government system. All of us Americans strive for the American Dream, and this film shows you why your dream is getting farther and farther away. Do you know how your money is created? Or how banking works? Why did housing prices skyrocket and then plunge? Do you really know what the Federal Reserve System is and how it affects you every single day?

The American Dream takes an entertaining but hard hitting look at how the problems we have today are nothing new, and why leaders throughout our history have warned us and fought against the current type of financial system we have in America today. You will be challenged to investigate some very entrenched and powerful institutions in this nation, and hopefully encouraged to help get our nation back on track.

You’re Not a Conspiracy Theorist if You are Willing to Investigate Things That Don’t Make Sense

explosion conspiracy theorist talk
I have a viewpoint to express here.

There is a contention that getting into “conspiracy theories” is just bad news and should be avoided. Keep everything rosy and everything will come out alright.

I personally think that at this juncture in history, this is just another form of non confront and actually destructive and a wrong action.

Here is why I say this about “conspiracy theories”. Here’s an analogy…

A group are all walking through a grassy area of southern California in the dry season in the summer. They enter the forest and are strolling along on a very nice day.

Some bum in the woods, went to sleep with a lit cigarette and the inevitable brush fires start.

Pretty soon, someone in the group starts to smell smoke and says, “hey, I smell smoke.”

One person in the group, who has some stature, says, “Knock that off, that’s just bad news. We are here taking a walk to enjoy the forest, so just chill. We don’t need that crap.”

The guy hushes up and keeps walking. Soon, the smoke gets heavier and it begins to become hard to breathe. That same guy, plus a few others start to say, “Someone must have set fire to this place. Smell that smoke?”

The big guy again says, “Hey man, knock of the fire theories! It’s just bad news!” They quiet down, but they are losing their composure, as the smoke is thick in the air.

It starts to get so bad that they have to put their shirts over their noses, as the smoke begins to sting. Eyes are watering and it’s getting hard to breathe, but they have been reprimanded several times about spreading bad news…

“You are broadcasting bad news – it’s a generality and there’s no handling. This is upsetting the rest of the group.”

Meanwhile, the majority of the group has put on their sunglasses, to block the bright flashes from the flames and they’ve got Kleenex over their noses to keep them from choking on the smoke.

Many are coughing, but blame it on having been smokers for so long…

Soon, they encounter flames to the rear and they try to escape, but can’t because they are engulfed in flames from a raging fire…

They all die in that fire, but if they had heeded the warnings early, they could have put it out, by calling the fire brigade.

This is a very mild version of what is happening right now on planet earth. The place is on fire, and the media says, “No fire. Everything is just fine.”

The planet is in the hands of the most insane bunch of crooks who are on a stepped up timetable to take out the U.S. as it blocks their strategy of enslavement.

The machinery is in motion and some courageous Americans are raising hell, only to be told “you’re a conspiracy theorist.” As if that admonition constituted any real investigation…

Alex Jones, being criticized for interrupting others he interviews is beyond me. He is the guy on the bridge of a sinking ship, yelling his lungs out and the blind ones, say, why is he so loud?

I post this stuff, because if we as Americans are aware of it, there are things all of us can do—such as vote in the next Presidential elections for the few politicians that are still in existence that could change the game before it gets too late. Such as not having vaccines injected into your children and demanding enmasse that GMO foods be abolished. Demanding that the US government stops it’s reckless printing of money and realizing that our economic troubles and unemployment is not at all random—but well planned. How about abolishing the Federal Reserve?

If we knew what was going on, we could prevent the inevitable disaster that is about to happen. We have the power to stop it, if we know it. Keeping everything nice and rosy while the ship is sinking is just plain s-t-u-p-i-d.

Just because it gets upsetting is no reason why you don’t know what is actually going on in your environment. Maybe it’s time to get upset and get into a confront. There are many things you can do—but if you have no clue what’s going on, you will only do what everyone else is doing—keeping their heads in “comfortable” dark holes in the ground.

I say, the time is urgent and the time is now to get some real info—not the false data pumped out by the mainstream media, but do some investigation to sort out the facts from the B.S. and then we work out what to do.

That someone else in authority has the facts does not take away your own responsibility in knowing what the devil is occurring around you. You investigating it and not agreeing with them does not make you a “conspiracy theorist”.

Since when did the great leaders of the world, the true leaders, say to not know and not confront? Every individual is fully responsible for awareness of the factors that influence his life. Living is a team activity. It cannot be conducted separate from one’s fellows. What happens in Washington, or in Keokuk will come back to Los Angeles or New York or Clearwater or San Diego and Italy and France and China and vice versa.

If you think the riots in Egypt have nothing to do with Americans and the inflation here, you are missing some vital facts. If you think that the saber rattling on Iran has nothing to do with you and you can do nothing about it, you are sadly mistaken.

World War III, which is being planned and has everything to do with the sentence above, will impinge on every single one of us. It won’t be nice. Even if you never see a gunshot, it will change everything about your life and liberty.

So, I take this opportunity to say to everyone, open your eyes and look. What you see will likely shock you, if you are just looking really for the first time. But we have numerous action steps that anyone and everyone can take. We don’t have the necessity level though, because if we did, there would be a lot more fur flying in the political arena—on things which we have complete power to control.

I don’t apologize for shaking things up, because, I know that if I know what I know about the real agenda for the planet and I keep my mouth shut because I am worried about upsetting someone and we don’t do the things in society that we can do now, down the road I will owe one and all a huge apology for being plain treasonous, but you know what? That will be too late.

Planet earth is on fire and if you don’t smell the smoke, open your nose.

That doesn’t give you an okay to cave in or collapse or go into worry or upset. It is your chance to work out what you can do right now and get going on it.

The first thing is to look at who is actually qualified to replace the current White House puppets and work with them to get the USA back on its feet.

After that, get moving on your next steps to personally flourish and prosper.

This message isn’t to say I am perfect. I am far from it. It isn’t to criticize anyone, or say that what you are doing isn’t okay. I am saying that if you don’t know what is really going down, you are going to be ineffective in stopping it.

I say, that if you are sitting in an illusion that all is well, you will never raise your necessity level sufficiently to meet reality. And necessity is the mother of invention isn’t it?

Wake up. Conspiracy is no theory. It’s as old as mankind and unfortunately it’s time to see and act. Not out of fear or reactivity, but out of knowledge and common sense!

I also have a pretty long list of simple steps that everyone can do and if everyone does, we will see changes. So, this is not bad news, it’s screaming cuz the ship is on the rocks. All is not well, and it’s only common sense to know that there’s a nut outside your house with a gun—you don’t send you kids out and you call the cops, right?

I am here to answer questions and help anyone who needs it. There are answers, but if you don’t know the situation, you will be applying the wrong tools to handle it.

Al
Components of Success

And every time another kid shot down,
face down,
laid out,
bleedin’ out on the school grounds;
And every time a little girl get sent,
by a grown man pimp,
selling everything waist down;
And every time another wife gets snatched,
car-jacked,
get slapped,
straight raped in the worst way;

And every time a little boy’s paralyzed with a bullet in the spine cause a thug had a bad day;
We should act like a cop did it.

Go crazy, mosh-pit it.
Just roll, just rock with it.
Life is life and death is death so baby why should it matter if I did it?
I’ma ride to the finish.
All the grown men and women been tryin’ to make the killin’ stop.
We need justice, and it don’t matter the color, a trigger happy thug or a trigger happy cop. But let’s act like a cop did it.

YOU GET YOURS, YEAH, AND I’LL GET MINE.
NO ONE HERE’S GONNA GET OUTTA LINE.
WE ARE LIVING IN TROUBLED TIMES.
WE’RE COMIN’ UP, YEAH WE’RE GONNA SURVIVE.

I have a reverence for life,
I hate it when we lose it in the night.
Ass whipped shootin’ cause you losin’ in a fight.
15, cruisin’ in a buick feelin’ right.
Drunk and high ’til you lose it and you lose your whole life.
And then we light a candle and we put you on a shirt.
And then we bow our heads and we cry cause it hurts.
And the preacher man tells us God had a plan so you had to go to heaven, only God understands.

A lot of real people that was raised in the hood
and they rep for the hood and they sweat for the hood.
Wage war on killers messin’ the hood and they protest the system stressin’ the hood.
Feelin’ like I might be next in the hood face down with a bullet in my back on the track.
Just make sure if I get clapped in the back it don’t matter if the murderer is BLUE or he’s BLACK.

YOU GET YOURS, YEAH, AND I’LL GET MINE.
NO ONE HERE’S GONNA GET OUTTA LINE.
WE ARE LIVING IN TROUBLED TIMES.
WE’RE COMIN’ UP, YEAH WE’RE GONNA SURVIVE.

Just lift every voice and scream.
For the women and the children that live in pain.
And the 18 and ups that vote for change
and look down and see they’re still shackled up in chains.
I’ma start with home.
Label it a no wrong zone
get some other grown folks we can guard our own.
Draw a line in the concrete, set the tone.

Come up in here wrong and we snappin’ bones.
Little kids can’t even walk across the street, without you ridin’ by doin’ 93.
And you kickin’ in the doors of these families,
stealin’ everything they worked for and leave with ease.
It don’t matter if you cops or you thugs or you dope fiend pimps on the block.
LISTEN! God don’t discriminate.
He gone bring the sword anyway but I’ma act like a cop did it.

YOU GET YOURS, YEAH, AND I’LL GET MINE.
NO ONE HERE’S GONNA GET OUTTA LINE.
WE ARE LIVING IN TROUBLED TIMES.
WE’RE COMIN’ UP, YEAH WE’RE GONNA SURVIVE.

Cyclonious “Never Lose Your Passion” Lyrical Snippet

“…Niggaz make a likkle pay now they feel they made it,
Still rock chains and whips Still on the slave ship,
Our history is there and the rest can’t change it,
Schools don’t teach it,
Seek it it’s sacred,
Honour thy mother and Father is the basics,
Rise like your’e supposed to to slip out the Matrix
Still dumb struck thinking this is entertainment,
Escape to reality most lives are wasted…”
