Payday Monsanto “Your Slumber” Music Video & Lyrics

Payday Monsanto “Your Slumber”

Payday Monsanto’s “Your Slumber” is about mass media controlling public opinion to the point of causing the population to do things that are not in it’s best interest.

The video highlights how the people in the West and in Muslim countries have been divided by false stereotypes created by the media in both cultures.

It’s time we all woke up and worked together toward peace and understanding.

“Very soon we will give you an implantable
Chip to insert in your neck like an animal.
Let me slow it down so you can comprehend it.
I’ve got the undebunkable truth.
Elementary puzzle, not a complicated riddle.
They’ve got you talkin about guns, diamonds, and bitches.
Elementary puzzle, not a complicated riddle.
I don’t think you understand the severity of the situation.

Atomic bomb blasts brought to you by Comcast.
Recorded on DVR so you can press rewind fast.
Virtual combat prepping you for missions soon.
Practicing on civilians while you’re chilling in your living room.
Identical to real life, except for the menu.
Kill for real when you get sent to kill in real life.
Animation done so realistically, when you see the true battlefield
You think the shit was done by Disney.
They pixilated the perception of a generation.
Mesmerized the multitudes with handy little innovations.
Gave them convenient means to love their own incarceration.
Non-invasive ways that they can track and trace and database them.
And if you aint prepared to get your VeriChip,
There’s a list for you in which you’ll be labeled a terrorist.
200,000 heartless mercenary forces,
Are back from Iraq to take orders from their bosses.

(Chorus)

WAKE UP
Wake the fuck up from your slumber.
This is not a joke nor is it a test.
Wake the fuck up from your slumber.
I’ve got the undebunkable truth.
It’s all written down in black and white,
The plans, the plans, the plans, to control you.
Wake the fuck up from your slumber!

Verse II
The human language was fabricated by cannibals,
To better make the human animal understand the rules.
The alphabet got you under a spell that is magical.
You’ve been possessed ever since your first day of grammar school.
Easily programmable by your controllers,
Education developed by devils, the mind molders.
It don’t take long to get you under the spell,
And square off your head, another brick into the well.
Child protection services ruled by child molesters,
Cheaters, wife beaters, and leaders of wild fiestas.
The heads of University used to favor men, openly
And walk around naked in the gymnasium.
Today you send your children off alone to be with them
Good ole boy clubs like the Bohemian is where you’ll see them in.
You better learn about your enemy with urgency
Instead of wasting all your energy on absurdity.

(Chorus)

It’s all written down in black and white:
The plans, the plans, the plans to control YOU….

Lupe Fiasco “Words I Never Said” Ft. Skylar Grey—Lyrics & Music Video

Lupe Fiasco “Words I Never Said” Ft. Skylar Grey

Lupe Fiasco‘s song “Words I Never Said” makes a powerful political statement in which he addresses the War on Terror, Pharmaceutical companies’ greed, censorship and the lies in the media.

The clip begins with scary-looking figures in gas masks carrying away a seemingly harmless woman. A newspaper headline appears on the screen to explain the action: “Voice of the People … Spiritual Leader Abducted at Her Rally on Saturday.”

Next, Fiasco boards a bus where the driver and all of the passengers wear gags that keep them silenced.

Lupe Fiasco grabs the bus speaker and begins rapping, “I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bulls— / Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets / How much money does it take to really make a full clip? / 9-11, Building 7, did they really pull it?”

“Words I Never Said” is the second single from Fiasco’s Album, “Lasers.”

[Hook: Skylar Grey]
It’s so loud inside my head
With words that I should have said
As I drown in my regrets
I can’t take back the words I never said

[Verse 1: Lupe Fiasco]
I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit
Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets
How much money does it take to really make a full clip?
9/11, building 7, did they really pull it?
Uh, And a bunch of other coverups
Your child’s future was the first to go with budget cuts
If you think that hurts, then wait, here comes the uppercut
The school was garbage in the first place, that’s on the up and up
Keep you at the bottom but tease you with the upper crust
You get it, then they move it, so you never keeping up enough
If you turn on TV, all you see’s a bunch of “what the fucks”
Dude is dating so and so, blabbering ’bout such and such
And that ain’t Jersey Shore, homey, that’s the news
And these the same people supposedly telling us the truth
Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist
Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit
That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either
I’m a part of the problem, my problem is I’m peaceful
And I believe in the people, yeah

[Hook: Skylar Grey]
It’s so loud inside my head
With words that I should have said
As I drown in my regrets
I can’t take back the words I never said

[Verse 2: Lupe Fiasco]
Now we can say it ain’t our fault if we never heard it
But if we know better, then we probably deserve it
Jihad is not a holy war, where’s that in the worship?
Murdering is not Islam, and you are not observant
And you are not a Muslim
Israel don’t take my side cause look how far you’ve pushed them
Walk with me into the ghetto, this where all the kush went
Complain about the liquor store, but what you drinking liquor for?
Complain about the gloom, but when’d you pick a broom up?
Just listening to Pac ain’t gon’ make it stop
A rebel in your thoughts ain’t gon’ make it halt
If you don’t become an actor, you’ll never be a factor
Pills with million side effects, take ’em when the pain’s felt
Wash them down with diet soda, killing off your brain cells
Crooked banks around the world would gladly give a loan today
So if you ever miss a payment, they can take your home away

[Hook: Skylar Grey]
It’s so loud inside my head
With words that I should have said
As I drown in my regrets
I can’t take back the words I never said

[Verse 3: Lupe Fiasco]
I think that all the silence is worse than all the violence
Fear is such a weak emotion, that’s why I despise it
We scared of almost everything, afraid to even tell the truth
So scared of what you think of me, I’m scared of even telling you
Sometimes I’m like the only person I feel safe to tell it to
I’m locked inside a cell in me, I know that there’s a jail in you
Consider this your bailing out, so take a breath, inhale a few
My screams is finally getting free, my thoughts is finally yelling through

[Hook: Skylar Grey]
It’s so loud inside my head
With words that I should have said
As I drown in my regrets
I can’t take back the words I never said

Akala “Find No Enemy”—Lyrics & Music Video

Akala “Find No Enemy”

Akala’s “Find No Enemy” is the 3rd single from his third album “Doublethink”. This song has a very strong anti-racism massage which includes showing how radio “Black Music” only portrays stereotypes and degrades people of color and is used to sell things rather than being an art form.

“A diluted derivative of the culture can be paraded as the culture and then people lose the essence of what it really is and actually think hip-hop is about trying to sell people champagne and jewellery.” — Akala

Apparently I’m second generation black Caribbean and half white Scottish whatever that means
See lately I feel confused with the boxes,
cause to me all they do is breed conflict,
It not that I’ve lost touch with the reality racism,
sexism and nationality,
Just to me it all seems like insanity,
why must I rob you of your humanity
To feel good about mine,
it’s all about crime dehumanizing is how I justify it,
So I must keep on lying about the history of africa,
so I can live the with massacres and
Repeat my mantra of Muslim and terrorist so I can sleep at night as bombs take flight,
Eyes wide but I’m blind to the sight too busy chasing the perfect life and the working class keep them uneducated
Truly educated men could never be racist, to educate is to draw out what is within are all not the same under the skin,
I got a heart like yours that pumps blood and oxygen and insecurities are a whole lot of them,
I’m scared like you deep down,
I really do care that world is not fair like you,
But I don’t even believe my own prayers like you,
Chasing career going nowhere like you,
Lost in a fog of my own insecurities I hold myself up as a image of purity,
And I judge everybody else by the color of their skin or the size of their wealth
But it’s not good for my health as the only one I ever really judge is myself
The oppressor must suffer like the oppressed though I pretend I’m in control of this mess
By inflating my ego, puffing my chest I see my weakness and need to show strength
For what we think strong is cause if were honest true strength is the strength to be honest
And if I’m honest I am just tired if I’m honest I am just tired,
Tired of everyday filling up my car and knowing that I’m paying for the bombs in Iraq
Tired of pretending like it don’t hurt my heart, of wanting change but not knowing where to start
Tired of listening to all the conditioning and all the forms they have me filling in.
Next time you see what is a thug and despise him, please know I was just like him,
Cause I was like eight the first time I saw crack, same time I first smoked weed chicking on blowbacks,
First time I saw knifes penetrate flesh it was meat cleavers to the back of the head,
As I grew and teenage years passed many more knifes pierced and the shots blast
And I not saying I had the worst upbringing but there a million young men just like me in prison
We complain about racism and elevate clowns with their trousers down swinging their dicks round,
Maybe that is not quite literal but everything they do is just as stereotypical,
To my real fans I feel your pain and I get the messages but don’t complain that we ain’t got more fame for paying our part,

They can keep the charts all I want is your hearts,
They can keep the charts all I want is your hearts,
They can keep the charts all I want is your hearts,

Call it black radio don’t make laugh, so is black music all about tits and arse,
You don’t represent nothing your just pretending,
when was the last time you ever played
Hendrix or Miles Davis or John Coultrain or Ele Fitzgerald or Billy Holliday
We can call it urban to me that’s cool if urban means street that means jazz to and rock for that matter
Go ask Mick jagger or Jimmy Page what they were listening to – the blues
Not discrediting love Zeppelin to just giving credit where credit is due
That blood soaked word rappers still use that just shows we still self abuse,
That was the word that was used to kill kelsa, coultrain and emit till
Hat was the word that the conscience eased and made people pleased to hung you from trees
That was the word that let the rips crack no matter what you say you can’t take it back
And I can say their black so I feel their pain easier but 1915 look at armenia,
If the whole world is human stupidity though we choke ourselves to death quite literally
And I can talk with my comfortable mouth, with my comfortable cloths and my comfortable house
The tables will turn, we can but stall them every empire on this earth has fallen
So unless we can find another way maybe not today but it will come one-day,
It may sound like I’m bitter but in-fact truth be told I am quite the opposite,
I wake everyday and am overwhelmed just to be alive and be like no one else
And the sheer weight of the thought of space is enough to keep my little ego in place
All that we chase and try to replace all along it was right in our face,
The only we the only way we can ever change anything is to look in the mirror and find no enemy,
The only way we can ever change anything,
look in the mirror and find no enemy…
