Payday Monsanto “Your Slumber” Music Video & Lyrics

Payday Monsanto “Your Slumber”

Payday Monsanto’s “Your Slumber” is about mass media controlling public opinion to the point of causing the population to do things that are not in it’s best interest.

The video highlights how the people in the West and in Muslim countries have been divided by false stereotypes created by the media in both cultures.

It’s time we all woke up and worked together toward peace and understanding.

“Very soon we will give you an implantable
Chip to insert in your neck like an animal.
Let me slow it down so you can comprehend it.
I’ve got the undebunkable truth.
Elementary puzzle, not a complicated riddle.
They’ve got you talkin about guns, diamonds, and bitches.
Elementary puzzle, not a complicated riddle.
I don’t think you understand the severity of the situation.

Atomic bomb blasts brought to you by Comcast.
Recorded on DVR so you can press rewind fast.
Virtual combat prepping you for missions soon.
Practicing on civilians while you’re chilling in your living room.
Identical to real life, except for the menu.
Kill for real when you get sent to kill in real life.
Animation done so realistically, when you see the true battlefield
You think the shit was done by Disney.
They pixilated the perception of a generation.
Mesmerized the multitudes with handy little innovations.
Gave them convenient means to love their own incarceration.
Non-invasive ways that they can track and trace and database them.
And if you aint prepared to get your VeriChip,
There’s a list for you in which you’ll be labeled a terrorist.
200,000 heartless mercenary forces,
Are back from Iraq to take orders from their bosses.

(Chorus)

WAKE UP
Wake the fuck up from your slumber.
This is not a joke nor is it a test.
Wake the fuck up from your slumber.
I’ve got the undebunkable truth.
It’s all written down in black and white,
The plans, the plans, the plans, to control you.
Wake the fuck up from your slumber!

Verse II
The human language was fabricated by cannibals,
To better make the human animal understand the rules.
The alphabet got you under a spell that is magical.
You’ve been possessed ever since your first day of grammar school.
Easily programmable by your controllers,
Education developed by devils, the mind molders.
It don’t take long to get you under the spell,
And square off your head, another brick into the well.
Child protection services ruled by child molesters,
Cheaters, wife beaters, and leaders of wild fiestas.
The heads of University used to favor men, openly
And walk around naked in the gymnasium.
Today you send your children off alone to be with them
Good ole boy clubs like the Bohemian is where you’ll see them in.
You better learn about your enemy with urgency
Instead of wasting all your energy on absurdity.

(Chorus)

It’s all written down in black and white:
The plans, the plans, the plans to control YOU….

Rothschild-owned Central Banks in All But Three Countries in 2011

As of the year 2000, there were seven countries without a Rothschild-owned Central Bank:

Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, Iran.

Then along came the convenient terror of 9-11 and soon Iraq and Afghanistan had been added to the list, leaving only five countries without a Central Bank owned by the Rothschild Family:

Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, Iran

We all know how fast the Central Bank of Benghazi was set up.

The only countries left in 2011 without a Central Bank owned by the Rothschild Family are:

Cuba, North Korea, Iran.

Notices that these 3 countries seem to be the only ones the U.S. considers a complete threat, even though they have never attacked this country in any way.

Iran, The Real Reason the U.S. Wants to Invade

Iran not the problemIRAN (is not the problem) is a feature length film responding to the failure of the American mass media to provide the public with relevant and accurate information about the standoff between the US and Iran, as happened before with the lead up to the invasion of Iraq.

We have heard that Iran is a nuclear menace in defiance of the international community, bent on “wiping Israel off the map”, supporting terrorism, and unwilling to negotiate. This documentary disputes these claims as they are presented to us and puts them in the context of present and historical US imperialism and hypocrisy with respect to Iran.

It looks at the struggle for democracy inside Iran, the consequences of the current escalation and the potential US and/or Israeli attack, and suggests some alternatives to consider.

This 79 minute documentary features Antonia Juhasz (The Bu$h Agenda), Larry Everest (Oil, Power, and Empire), and other activists and Iranian-Americans. The DVD also contains a 20 minute preview version ideal for meetings. The goal of this movie is to promote dialog and change the debate on Iran, so please consider organizing a screening, big or small, in your area.

Produced by Aaron Newman, an independent film-maker and part of the Scary Cow film co-op in San Francisco. He is an anti-imperialism/pro-democracy activist, founder of the SF Chomsky Book Club, and a member of Hands Off Iran

There are differences of opinion between many of the voices in this film, but all agree that a war would be unjustified (by angel). Below are brief video introductions for each of the people who participated.

Did the U.S. Senate Commit Treason by Passing NDAA?

by Jeanine Molloff

john-mccainDecember 1st, 2011, the US Senate accomplished the unthinkable–with the nearly unanimous passage of the National Defense Authorization Bill of 2012–they committed treason. Written and planned in secret by the Senate Armed Services Committee, the newly minted NDAA contains three sections which collectively  sanctions indefinite detention of alleged terrorists or ‘terrorist sympathizers’–anywhere in the world including the US– and designates the military the duty to arrest, imprison and interrogate without benefit of counsel,’ accused civilians here on Main Street.  Ironically, the abuse of civilian Iraqis by our military and by military contractors is coming to a locale near you.  Theoretically, armed squads of US soldiers might be knocking on your door in the dead of night to take away Auntie Mame for her alleged ‘terrorist’ activities—at the ACLU.  This bill potentially allows for the blatant political prosecutions of any dissenter using the military as a bully club to instill deep fear in any who dare to question our government’s motives.

No proof of wrongdoing is required and those accused are denied the due process right of trial by their peers, or the services of an attorney– and are subsequently relegated to the ‘military commissions justice system.’  As a result–the accused are reduced to the status of ‘unlawful enemy combatant,’ and are subject to the following actions: ‘extroardinary rendition’, ‘enhanced interrogation’ procedures, ‘indefinite detention to possibly a  life sentence, and ‘presidential assigned extermination of target’ .  These powers are then ‘given’ to the President to use at will, fully codified in law, while requiring in reality no proof other than presidential whim.

It is at this juncture that I find the timing of this bill suspicious–coinciding with the exponential growth of the Occupy Wall Street Movement, the recent implosion of both EU and US economies, the emerging body of proof  documenting Wall Street’s enormous crimes, and the Super Committee threat to cut military funding.  It almost looks like the robber barons of Wall Street ‘circling the wagons’ in a fit of legislative revenge against the rabble, namely you and I.

History of NDAA 2012 Sections 1031, 1032, and 1033-35…another AUMF
Senate Commits Treason This bill was co- written by the powerful Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee Senator Carl Levin (D) and the Senate Minority Leader John McCain, with Senator Lindsey Graham assigning himself as main cheerleader. The deliberations were kept secret and any debate was forbidden.  Crafted under the auspices of keeping our nation

‘safe from terrorism’—the entire world including the US is now

classified as a battlefield with indefinite timelines.   Anyone broaching the question of due process rights is shouted down as ‘soft on terrorism’—mainly by Senator Graham.  In fact, here is an example of how Senator Graham views the issues of due process rights:

…”If you’re an American citizen and you betray your country, you’re going to be questioned about what you know,”  …”and you’re not going to be given a lawyer if our national security interests dictate that you not be given a lawyer and go into the criminal justice system, because ‘we’re not fighting crime, we’re fighting a war.”

Lowkey Relatives Ft. Logic – Music Video and Lyrics

Lowkey Relatives Ft. Logic

Lowkey released his song Relatives on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 to send a message of world peace, when some are trying to foment further conflict. The song show the war from the view point of a british solider and a Iraqi boy. Both know there is something wrong with what is occurring but both are so caught up in it that they do nothing to change it.

The video shows the callased views of the elite that are running this war with a quote from former Secretary of State under Richard Nixon, Henry Kissinger, Kissinger said,

“Military men are just dumb stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.”

The main characters in the video are Balach Amzz, Jimmy Jitsu, Aqeelah Abd Al-Rahman and Crazy-Haze.

The views expressed on this track are not directly those of Lowkey or Logic, we’re just drawing attention to the lifestyles that some people lead.

Lowkey: I was born in Bermondsey, one of the south parts

Logic: And I was born in Basra, southside of Iraq

Lowkey: We used to play football outside in the park

Logic: We used to dodge bullets outside in the dark

Lowkey: I never prayed, I was told there isn’t a god

Logic: I prayed 5 times a day its like I lived in a mosque

Lowkey: Me, I’m easy with a pint and some cricket to watch

Logic: They sanctioned everything we got, so now it isn’t a lot

Lowkey: My mum and dad worked hard, always had employment

Logic: My mom just left and my dad got poisoned
I was young but I was told that the government did it

Lowkey: From my heart I can say that I love being British
I grew with 5 older brothers and sisters

Logic: Yeah I had a lot of siblings but some have gone missing
Now it’s just me and my little sis

Lowkey: Britain’s got a lot of immigrants; they take our jobs everyday I swear I’m sick of it

Logic: My uncle’s trying to get to Britain quick

Lowkey: I’m trying to find a job

Logic: Me I’m still illiterate

Lowkey: every 2 weeks I’m signing on

Logic: we only had school a little bit

Lowkey: I got kicked out of school very early, labeled as an idiot

Logic: Before my uncle left us, he gave me his gun

Lowkey: my girl just gave me a son

Logic: You see its hot where I live, every day I bake in the sun

Lowkey: Its cold where I live so I read every page of the Sun
And I’m getting mad, with what I look at and read

Logic: I just met a couple elders that are good on their Deen.

Lowkey: My dad told me joining an army would be good for the peace

Logic: I started meeting, now I’m training with the mujahedeen
Because I’ve heard that the westerners are coming with bombs

Lowkey: I spent months in the regiment training up to be shot

Logic: But this is my land, my country, ill defend it till I pass

Lowkey: I just got the message that they’re sending me to Iraq

Pain is the same fam, its all relative
They cried the same tears, you cried for your relatives
And one way or another, my brother we’re all relatives
Home is where the heart is, yeah that’s where it is (2X)

Lowkey: Now I’m in the south of Iraq, it’s a smelly place
I don’t know who to trust, everybody’s got a hairy face

Logic: And Bazara’s a scary place, its worse than it used to be
They’re dropping bombs everyday

Lowkey: Even little boys shoot at me

Logic: I shoot at white faces, and any green suit I see

Lowkey: Every regiment’s lost a couple of troops; we’ve lost 2 or 3

Logic: I still go to pray in the same place the mosque used to be

Lowkey: I see little kids starving to death, with no food to eat,
But an orders an order, we’ve got to clean the city up

Logic: they see how we’re suffering, and still they don’t pity us
They shoot us every day tomorrow’s probably me

Lowkey: We’re trying to help these bastards, but its like they don’t want to be free

Logic: Yeah these people don’t know what freedom is

Lowkey: I saw my colleague rape a woman against her will, but I didn’t agree with it

Logic: I shot a soldier in the face and then I had to run quick

Lowkey: My sergeant got shot in his face by some dumb young kid,
Now I just want to go home that’s where my heart is

Logic: My heart is in Basra, and never will I part it

Lowkey: this wars going nowhere, tell me why did we start this

Logic: I’m fighting regardless till I’m resting where Allah is

Lowkey: come to think of it, I should have never joined the army
And when I think about it, I don’t hate these Iraqi’s

Logic: Yeah bullets flying past me, I’m scared but I cant run,
I take my sister upstairs and get my uncle’s old gun

Lowkey: Don’t know if it’s terrorists or just some civilians,
But I’ve been told to neutralize the threat up in that building

Logic: I see the soldiers they’re about to pass, I take my pistol out and blast

Lowkey: A bullet wizzes by my face and tears my friends mouth apart,
I saw red, and starting shooting to make em all dead

Logic: I tried to guard my sister, but a bullet hit her forehead

Lowkey: I ran up the steps to see if I buried them all
But all I saw was

Logic: my little sister dead on the floor

Our pain is the same, but its all relative
They cried the same tears, you cried for your relatives
And one way or another, my brother we’re all relatives
Home is where the heart is, yeah that’s where it is

The song Features M1 of Dead Prez and fellow UK rapper Black The Ripper.

It also includes video of Glenn Beck mocking Lowkey’s song “Terrorist?”. Which Lowkey counters by sampling a portion Lupe Fiasco’s song “Things I Never Said”, which goes “Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist, Gaza Strip was gettin’ bombed, Obama didn’t say shit”.

[Chorus]
I don’t, i don’t want no,
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
Vote for your inauguration,
Cause i don’t need your,
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
[Lupe Fiasco]
Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist
Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit

[Verse 1 - M1 Of Dead Prez]
After you divorce yourself from the right wing
Propaganda campaign, it’s all simple and plain
America customed the game
Your president got an African name, now who you gone blame?
When they drop them bombs out of them planes
Using depleted uranium, babies looking like two headed aliens
Follow the money trail it leads to the criminal
Ain’t nothing subliminal to it, that’s how they do it
See they game they run, give a f-ck if he’s cunning
Articulate and handsome, Afghanistan held for ransom
By the hand of this black man, neo-colonial puppet
White power with a black face, he said f-ck it i’ll do it
A master of disguise, expert at telling lies
Then they gave him a Nobel Peace Price
Should of known he was trained in Chicago
Word to Chairmen Fred and Mark Clark
What they do in the dark will come out in the light
Like a wiki leaks site
So I guess Nkrumah was right, who’s ready to fight?
Last stage of imperialism, I ain’t kiddin
In the immortal words of Marvin Gaye ‘This ain’t living’

[Chorus]
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
Vote for your inauguration,
Cause i don’t need your,
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,

Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit

[Verse 2 - Black The Ripper]
O.B.A.M.A
You ain’t fooling everyone I see the games you play
You was V.I.P. at the B.I.C
And we know that’s code name for C.I.A
The same way your cameras are watching us we’re watching you
Think we’re easy to control you ain’t got a clue
Revolutions on the way, let’s see what your gonna do
You gonna send the troops? You gonna drop the nukes?
See it’s not where you’re from it’s where you’re at
He’s sitting in the White House so who cares if he’s black
And why’s there soldiers still out there in Iraq?
Natural resources ain’t yours, its theirs give it back!
You’re just another puppet but i’m not surprised
Look at Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice
They didn’t change shit, house nigga’s fresh off the slave ship
You’ll all burn in hell even Michelle, Obama Nation

[Chorus]
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
Vote for your inauguration,
Cause i don’t need your,
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
[Lupe Fiasco]
Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist
Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit

[Verse 3 - Lowkey]
Was the bigger threat from Osama or from Obama?
Military bases from Chagos to Okinawa
I say things that other rappers won’t say
Cause my mind never closed like Guantanamo Bay
Hope you didn’t build a statue or tattoo your arm
Cause the drones are still flying over Pashtunistan
Did he defend the war? No! He extended more
He even had the time to attempt a coup in Ecuador
Morales and Chavez, the state’s are on a hunt for ya
Military now stationed on bases in Columbia
Take a trip to the past and tell em I was right
Ask Ali Abunimah or Jeremiah Wright
Drones over Pakistan, Yemen and Libya
Is Obama the bomber getting ready for Syria?
First black president, the masses were hungry
But the same president just bombed an african country

[Chorus]
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
Vote for your inauguration,
Cause i don’t need your,
Obama, Obama nation (abomination),
I’m not gonna,
[Lupe Fiasco]

Immortal Technique, “The Cause of Death” Lyrics

Immortal Technique Revolutionary Vol 2

Immortal Technique: Revolutionary Vol 2

Immortal Technique
Revolutionary Volume 2
Yeah, broadcasting live from Harlem, New York
Let the truth be known..

You better watch what the fuck flies outta ya mouth
Or I’ma hijack a plane and fly it into your house
Burn your apartment with your family tied to the couch
And slit your throat, so when you scream, only blood comes out
I doubt that there could ever be…a more wicked MC
‘Cause AIDS infested child molesters aren’t sicker than me
I see the world for what it is, beyond the white and the black
The way the government downplays historical facts
‘Cause the United States sponsored the rise of the 3rd Reich
Just like the CIA trained terrorists how to fight
Build bombs and sneak box cutters onto a flight
When I was a child, the Devil himself bought me a mic
But I refused the offer, ’cause God sent me to strike
With skills unused like fallopian tubes on a dyke
My words’ll expose George Bush and Bin Laden
As two separate parts of the same seven headed dragon
And you can’t fathom the truth, so you don’t hear me
You think illuminati’s just a fucking conspiracy theory?
That’s why Conservative racists are all runnin’ shit
And your phone is tapped by the Federal Government
So I’m jammin’ frequencies in ya brain when you speak to me
Technique will rip a rapper to pieces indecently
Pack weapons illegally, because I’m never hesitant
Sniper scoping a commission controlling the president

Father, forgive them, for they don’t know right from wrong
The truth will set you free, written down in this song
And the song has the Cause of Death written in code
The Word of God brought to life, that’ll save ya soul..

Save ya soul motherfucker…save ya soul..

Yeah, yeah, yeah

I hacked the Pentagon for self-incriminating evidence
Of Republican manufactured white powder pestilence
Marines Corps. flack vest, with the guns and ammo
Spittin’ bars like a demon stuck inside a piano
Turn a Sambo into a soldier with just one line
Now here’s the truth about the system that’ll fuck up your mind
They gave Al Queda 6 billion dollars in 1989 to 1992
And now the last chapters of Revelations are coming true
And I know a lot of people find it hard to swallow this
Because subliminal bigotry makes you hate my politics
But you act like America wouldn’t destroy two buildings
In a country that was sponsoring bombs dropped on our children
I was watching the Towers, and though I wasn’t the closest
I saw them crumble to the Earth like they was full of explosives
And they thought nobody noticed the news report that they did
About the bombs planted on the George Washington bridge
Four Non-Arabs arrested during the emergency
And then it disappeared from the news permanently
They dubbed a tape of Osama, and they said it was proof
“Jealous of our freedom,” I can’t believe you bought that excuse
Rocking a motherfucking flag don’t make you a hero
Word to Ground Zero
The Devil crept into Heaven, God overslept on the 7th
The New World Order was born on September 11

Father, forgive them, for they don’t know right from wrong
The truth will set you free, written down in this song
And the song has the Cause of Death written in code
The Word of God brought to life, that’ll save ya soul..

Save ya soul motherfucker…save ya soul..

Yeah, yeah, yeah

And just so Conservatives don’t take it to heart
I don’t think Bush did it, ’cause he isn’t that smart
He’s just a stupid puppet taking orders on his cell phone
From the same people that sabotaged Senator Wellstone
The military industry got it poppin’ and lockin’
Looking for a way to justify the Wolfowitz Doctrine
And as a matter of fact, Rumsfeld, now that I think back
Without 9/11, you couldn’t have a war in Iraq
Or a Defense budget of world conquest proportions
Kill freedom of speech and revoke the right to abortions
Tax cut extortion, a blessing to the wealthy and wicked
But you still have to answer to the Armageddon you scripted
And Dick Cheney, you fucking leech, tell them your plans
About building your pipelines through Afghanistan
And how Israeli troops trained the Taliban in Pakistan
You might have some house niggas fooled, but I understand
Colonialism is sponsored by corporations
That’s why Halliburton gets paid to rebuild nations
Tell me the truth, I don’t scare into paralysis
I know the CIA saw Bin Laden on dialysis
In ’98 when he was Top Ten for the FBI
Government ties is really why the Government lies
Read it yourself instead of asking the Government why
‘Cause then the Cause of Death will cause the propaganda to die..

[Man talking]
He is scheduled for 60 Minutes next.
He is going on French, British, Italian, Japanese television.
People everywhere are starting to listen to him.
It’s embarrassing

Lowkey – Terrorist? Music Video & Lyrics

Lowkey – Terrorist?

British musician and poet Lowkey, who is of Iraqi descent, wrote this song critical of American military actions, showing how the true terrorists are not the people from the middle east.

Enjoy this video.

Lowkey – Terrorist? Lyrics

So, we must ask ourselves, what is the dictionary definition of Terrorism?

“The systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion.”

But what is terror?

According to the dictionary I hold in my hand,
“Terror is violent or destructive acts, such as bombing
committed by groups in order to intimidate a population or government into granting their demands.”

So what’s a terrorist?

[Chorus]
They’re calling me a terrorist
Like they don’t know who the terror is
When they put it on me, I tell them this
I’m all about peace and love (Peace and love)

They’re calling me a terrorist
Like they don’t know who the terror is
Insulting my intelligence
Oh how these people judge (People judge)

[Verse 1]
It seems like the Rag-heads and Paki’s are worrying your Dad
But your dad’s favorite food is curry and kebab
It’s funny but it’s sad how they make your mummy hurry with her bags
Rather read The Sun than study all the facts
Tell me, what’s the bigger threat to human society;
B.A.E Systems or home made I.E.D’s?
Remote controlled drones, killing off human lives
Or man with home made bomb committing suicide
I know you were terrified when you saw the towers fall
It’s all terror but some forms are more powerful
It seems nuts, how could there be such agony?
When more Israeli’s die from peanut allergies
It’s like the definition didn’t ever exist
I guess it’s all just depending who your nemesis is
Irrelevant how eloquent the rhetoric peddler is
They’re telling fibs, now tell us who the terrorist is

[Chorus]
They’re calling me a terrorist
Like they don’t know who the terror is
When they put it on me, I tell them this
I’m all about peace and love (Peace and love)

They’re calling me a terrorist
Like they don’t know who the terror is
Insulting my intelligence
Oh how these people judge (People judge)

[Verse 2]
Lumumba was democracy
Mossadegh was democracy
Allende was democracy
Hypocrisy it bothers me
Call you terrorists if you don’t wanna be a colony
Refuse to bow down to a policy of robberies
Is terrorism my lyrics? (is it?)
When more Vietnam vets kill themselves after the war than die in it
This is very basic
One nation in the world has over a thousand military bases
They say it’s religion, when clearly it isn’t
It’s not just Muslims that oppose your imperialism
Is Hugo Chavez a Muslim? Nah… I didn’t think so
Is Castro a Muslim? Nah… I didn’t think so
It’s like the definition didn’t ever exist
I guess it’s all just depending who your nemesis is
Irrelevant how eloquent the rhetoric peddler is
They’re telling fibs, now tell us who the terrorist is

[Chorus]
They’re calling me a terrorist
Like they don’t know who the terror is
When they put it on me, I tell them this
I’m all about peace and love (Peace and love)

They’re calling me a terrorist
Like they don’t know who the terror is
Insulting my intelligence
Oh how these people judge (People judge)

[Outro]
(You think that I don’t know, but I know, I know, I know…
You think we don’t know, but we know…) [5x]

Was building 7 terrorism?
Was nano thermite terrorism?
Diego Garcia was terrorism
I am conscious the Contras were terrorism
Phosphorus that burns hands, that is terrorism
Irgun and Stern Gang that was terrorism
What they did in Hiroshima was terrorism
What they did in Fallujah was terrorism
Mandella ANC that was terrorism
Gerry Adams I.R.A that was terrorism
Erik Prince Blackwater was terrorism
Oklahoma McVeigh, that was terrorism
Every day U.S.A that is terrorism
Every day U.K that is terrorism

(Every day) [7x]
(Oh…)
(hey…)
(You think that we don’t know, but we do…)

Anti-Flag—The Press Corpse Music Video & Lyrics

Anti-Flag—The Press Corpse

Anti-Flag—The Press Corpse: “This song was written in dedication of the mainstream-corporate media, in particular Judith Miller and the New York Times, who failed miserably in their role as The People’s investigative watchdog of the powerful and instead acted as a stenographer for the White House in the lead up to the invasion of Iraq. It is also dedicated to the Bush White House for successfully intimidating and shutting out any reporters who questioned their distortions, half-truths and lies in the build up to the war, and continue to do so. Most of all, this song was written in dedication of Democracy Now! as well as a handful of other courageous journalists for getting it right on Iraq , for continuing to report it like it is while the others report what is safe, and for putting integrity before profit.”

-Justin Sane, Anti-Flag

Enjoy this video.

Anti-Flag—The Press Corpse Lyrics

The {Downing Street} memo says…

…We gotta work to make the facts fit the false charges
Pull the wool over the eyes of the filthy masses
Stab the people in the back for the corporate choice
Roll the propaganda out using The People’s Voice

We don’t want to talk about it…

The press scribble scribble every half-truth spoke
Then shoot it round the country like an April Fools joke
Hype the nation for a Desert Storm love affair
Wave the stars and stripes like you just don’t care!

They talk it up all day, they talk it up all night
They talk until their face turns blue – Red white and blue!
But when the truth escapes the night and crawls into the day
We find the picture still askew

They don’t want to… talk talk talk talk talk about it
They wanna tiptoe, walk around it
Wave the flag and mindlessly salute
They don’t want to talk about it
They wanna tiptoe, walk around it
Wave the flag and cowardly salute

And on the TV screen…
…Diversion and aversion is the flavor of the day
Was it WMDs? Or Democracy?
Blame it on MI-6 or the CIA
The White House Press Corpse only has one thing to say…

“We don’t want to talk about it!”

The White House boils over, “Al Jazeera got it wrong!”
The Press Corpse jumps onboard singing the White House song
While over in Iraq thousands are dead because of lies
The spineless war drumming-press corpse have taken lives

They talk it up all day, they talk it up all night
They talk until their face turns blue – Red white and blue!
But when the truth escapes the night and crawls into the day
We find the picture still askew

They don’t want to… talk talk talk talk talk about it
They wanna tiptoe, walk around it
Wave the flag and mindlessly salute
They don’t want to talk about it
They wanna tiptoe, walk around it
Wave the flag and cowardly salute

Fires fueled on endless lies
Black shrouds coat desert skies
A nation’s viewpoint blurred and led
As embeds report what they’re fed

We don’t want to talk about it…
We don’t want to talk about it…
We don’t want to talk about it…
We don’t want to talk about it…

(We don’t want to talk about it…)
We don’t, don’t want to, we don’t wanna talk about it
(We don’t want to…)
We don’t, don’t want to, we don’t wanna talk

They don’t want to… talk talk talk talk talk about it
They wanna tiptoe, walk around it
Wave the flag and cowardly salute
They don’t want to talk about it
They wanna tiptoe, walk around it
Wave the flag and cowardly salute

Lowkey Ft. Shadia Mansour – Too Much

Lowkey (born Kareem Dennis, 23 May 1986) is a musician, poet, playwright and political activist of English and Iraqi descent.

This video is about the fact that no matter how greedy you are, money does not buy any of the things important to life, it is set in Cuba and shows the insanity of the sanctions placed on that country by the U.S.

Enjoy this video.

Lowkey Ft. Shadia Mansour – Too Much Lyrics

[Intro: Lauryn Hill]
If you down with the rich man, and that can be rich in anything,
Don’t you take too much,
If you laugh at a poor man, and that can be poor in anything,
Don’t you laugh too much,
If you tryin to be rich man, and that can be rich in anything
Don’t you take too much,
And if you need to be needed, and you’re lookin’ for purpose,
Just remember, don’t you need too much…

[Hook: Shadia Mansour]
If you take something you, don’t need, and keep it
Then you started from somebody else who’s hungry
Everything that you do, is everything you are
Everything that I am, is everything you ever need.

[Verse 1: Lowkey]
Money can buy power, but it can’t buy respect
Money can’t buy sleep, but it can buy a bed
Money can’t buy you love, but it can buy sex
Do you posses money or by money are you possessed?
Money can buy a house, but it can’t buy a home
So even with money you still feel all alone
Money can buy you friends, but it can’t buy family
Money can’t make you happy, that’s just a fallacy
It can buy a bath, but it can’t buy purity
It can buy bodyguards, but it can’t buy security
While people around the world starve, I eat
Cause money can buy war, but it can’t buy peace
Some do everything and anything to get the p’s
The society we livin’ in, it’s a necessity
It’s got the power to turn your best friends to enemies
It’s funny cause money doesn’t follow us when we leave.

[Hook: Shadia Mansour]
If you take something you, don’t need, and keep it
Then you started from somebody else who’s hungry
Everything that you do, is everything you are
Everything that I am, is everything you ever need.

[Verse 2: Lowkey]
Does happiness live in a mansion with a swimming pool?
I know people with plenty of money that are miserable
We all need to earn in this world we live
Most work for it, some still, but many worship it
Some sell poison for it, some seek employment for it
We need it to survive, so some clean the toilets for it
I need papes to live but never will I live for papes
Abolish the Queen, I don’t wanna see that witches face
Many sell their soul for it, no not me
Some will try to tell you that it doesn’t grow on trees
I heard the sayin said, many a time, but they were wrong
Cause if it doesn’t tell me where do you get the paper from?
Most think they will be happy if they only had more of it
Some wasted, some feel more important because they’re born with it
Some have got the nerve to say you’re fraudulent for forging it
The truth is you don’t need a fortune to be fortunate.

[Hook: Shadia Mansour]
If you take something you, don’t need, and keep it
Then you started from somebody else who’s hungry
Everything that you do, is everything you are
Everything that I am, is everything you’ll ever need.
